The Online Baccalaureate offers a dynamic general education curriculum which is based on the principles of "proficiencies" (or skills and competencies) and "perspectives" (or subject matter and content areas).
Our general education courses foster knowledge of human culture and the natural world (in science, social science, mathematics, humanities and the arts), intellectual and practical skills (in communication, quantitative reasoning, information literacy, critical thinking and inquiry), and individual and social responsibility (civic engagement, ethical reasoning, and intercultural awareness).
